The Opportunity
We are looking for a Red Hat Product & Programs Manager based in Singapore to support Compute Category division. The candidate is with sales/presales/program management experience in Linux, system management, and Containers/DevOps. In this role, you will assist field teams/partners with building use-case based customer solutions using company's products with Red Hat solution. The suitable candidate will act as a subject matter expert to Red Hat Solutions. You will support the country teams & regional Red Hat alliance team in helping to create solutions & GTM solving problems and establishing both partner and customer relationships. To succeed in this role, you'll need a balance of technical expertise, passion for open source, and a deep understanding of business processes and industry challenges in commercial and public sector domains. As a Red Hat Product & Programs Manager, you will also possess great communication and people skills, as you will present product features and benefits to product and presales engineers, present business cases, and demonstrate Red Hat solutions to leaders, executives, and decision makers.
- Understanding of the category products & Red Hat solutions
- Business management, solving sales challenges and developing strategies.
- Actively contributes to the definition of the category business plan with company & Red Hat product manager
- Support to establish relationships and represents team with company sales force and partners.
- Work with company & Red Hat product manager to develop and drive execution for GTM plans with countries.
- Support to direct cross-functional, cross- organizational teams and agencies in the development and work with product manager to execute GTM plans and budgets.
- Work with company product manager to define GTM metrics/goals/ benchmarks and track/report progress against them.
- Develop closed-loop post- analysis for marketing programs and identify/execute indicated actions
- Act as the APAC evangelist for company & Red Hat solution and work actively with country team members to drive mind share
Your Background
- University or bachelor's degree in business or technology; MBA is a plus
- 12+ years of professional experience with a combination of Sales, Presales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Red Hat solution, HPE product Infrastructure & industry knowledge.
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
- Ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Business planning skills, multidimensional
- Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage business planning and reporting.
- Strong communication skills at senior management
- Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices
- Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners
