The Opportunity
As a Product Marketing Manager, your role will be:
- Establish timescales and project manage the development of new energy products & services with teams spanning from Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, IT and relevant corporate departments
- Develop product messaging that differentiates new energy products from others in the market
- Communicate the value of new products to the sales team
- Brief the press and PR teams about new products and take part in presentations
- Through research tools, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas
- Ensure product availability by constantly engaging energy partner
- Use market research data to help influence product pricing
- Work with Marketing team to produce product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and social media posts
- Test new products in the market
- Propose and keep within a product development budget
- Research competitor offerings and provide analysis and research on how to improve product sales
Your Background
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Degree in any discipline
- Product development and energy-related experience preferred
- Takes initiative on new unchartered tasks and assignments
- Able to work well in a team and manage multiple stakeholders
- Good communication skills
