The Opportunity
Client Management
- Ability to gain in depth understanding of client needs, to develop and execute a client focused account plan Leverage strong interpersonal skills to foster deep client relationships, build trust, and manage the day-to-day client requests with internal teams
- Cultivate new and existing relationships to drive business where relevant
- Ability to effectively influence and manage change and display solid leadership skills
- Deliver on voice of customer goals by driving superior client experience and timely solving clients' issues and escalations
- Have a holistic view of your clients learning about them via newsroom, news feed on social channels, reading annual reports and investor day presentations
- Prepare and lead business reviews based and be the be the voice of the customer to recommend process improvements and enhance service efficiency and effectiveness
- Secure client representation at events and client references
- Demonstrate effective oral and written presentations and communications skills
Collaboration
- Build relationships across the client's organization to minimise dependency on a single individual
- Coordinate with the Company's teams across the globe to align on customer engagement plans
- Provide Sales colleagues and Product Management with any market or competitor intelligence
- Drive B2B expansions (supplier payments) by collaborating with teams across the bank
- Partner with the Network providers, Travel Management Companies, Fin Techs to provide innovative solutions to our mutual Clients
Pipeline
- Maintain an accurate and updated pipeline of all prospects and adopt good sales discipline
- Increase a customer's lifetime value through upselling and cross-selling
- Manage the contract renewal process from pre-RFP analysis, RFP response, presentation, pricing strategy, negotiation, and deal closure
Development Value:

Your Background
- Degree in Banking or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of cards solutions and how they drive processes efficiencies, improve cash flow, and deliver working capital benefits
- Expand knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process within a large organisation and the various solutions that Citi can provide, beyond cards
- Advanced Commercial Card product knowledge
- Client facing experience and ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Proven track record working in a global sales environment
- Market and Industry awareness
- A history of achieving sales target
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Disciplined and able to meet timelines for multiple projects simultaneously
- Energetic with an innovative approach to problem solving
- Strong teamwork approach
