Regional Cybersecurity Consultant/Liaison Officer
This role is to assist the countries in Asia to align with Global CISO's direction and set up the response framework to any cybersecurity related issues in the region. This role also includes the facilitation and management of global security measures in the Asia region to continuously improve the internal security of the organisation.
- Assess and evaluate current state of information security and support to create information security strategy to align with Global CISO strategy.
- Develop necessary additional information on security measures based on analysis and trends of local threat landscape.
- Maintain awareness of trends in security regulatory and new technology/solutions/services
- Work closely with other the group in Asia countries (Excluding China and Hong Kong) to evaluate current state and enforce, expand and strengthen security programs, such as, Security monitoring, vulnerability management, security awareness training and ISO 27001/2 based Security Audit
- Monitor the operations of the security measures in the respective countries.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented security measures, and checks if they are functioning as designed.
- Support to remediate gaps identified by audit results
- Create and review security policies and related documents.
- Align with Global CISO strategies, programs, and support to create local security strategies based on global strategies.
- Report latest status of projects/programs, issues, events and incident to Global CISO in timely manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT Risk Governance and/or Information Security practices or equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; Management Information Systems/Security or related field
- CISM, CISA, or CRISC certification is required.
- CISSP and PMP certification is preferred but optional
- Solid knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks and regulations (ISO27001, ISO27002, Privacy Shield, SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS)
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirement and of standards Technology Security practices and frameworks.
- Critical thinking skills with an inquisitive and questioning nature
- Proactive with responsive work style and highly organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
- The ability to communicate clearly at all levels, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
