The Opportunity
The consultant is required to provide support and preventive maintenance service to customer, to address and resolve customer's system fault. The person will have the opportunity to expose to different products and technologies and experience different industry sectors
- To be able to provide technical consulting and advice
- Helping to response to customer enquires/faults
- To engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies
- Managing and maintenance the equipment store
- Arranging to send faulty equipment back to vendor for repair
- Perform preventive maintenance for customer
- Conduct network troubleshoot
Your Background
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- 2 - 3 years of hands-on in product deployment, maintenance or support operation
- Prefer to have experience with 2 or 3 major solution products, such as Firewalls, Log Management, 2 Factor Authentication, IPS
- Knowledge of networking is an advantage
- Willing to work on duty roaster to provide 24x7 support to customer (standby support)
- Ad-hoc assignments as required
