The Opportunity
Spearheding the creation of diverse content, including tentpole event keynotes, video and audio content, and social media campaigns, along with thought leadership and localized campaigns. The Senior Content Marketing Lead will have the autonomy to shape their functional area, including strategic planning, budgeting, and ensuring the success of their initiatives, making a significant impact on our brand's presence in the ASEAN market.
  • Content Strategy and Planning: Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy that is in harmony with the ASEAN region's social media objectives, campaign goals, target audience, and brand identity.
  • Craft and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule across diverse social media platforms.
  • Content Creation and Management: Lead the production of captivating, high-quality content across various mediums, including video, audio, and social media. Manage every aspect of the content lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring it aligns with our brand's voice and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Independently manage key functional areas, including quarterly planning and, if applicable, budget proposals. Ensure accountability for the success of these initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for key stakeholders, adeptly navigating challenges with minimal guidance. Your strategic acumen will be pivotal in aligning content strategies with the broader goals of the company.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Display decisive leadership in setting objectives and determining approaches to critical assignments. Lead by example on highly visible, often cross-functional projects, mentoring, and inspiring team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Address complex challenges proactively, bringing together diverse viewpoints to achieve consensus and implementing solutions. Your initiative will ensure the content strategy progresses in alignment with the company’s vision.
  • Innovation and Motivation: Encourage and inspire the team through a commitment to innovation and creativity. Your leadership will foster a culture of creativity and dedication, crucial for the success of our content strategy.
  • ASEAN-Specific Strategies: Formulate and execute strategies tailored to the APAC market, integrating global themes with local nuances. This includes managing event content in key locations across ASEAN and adapting global marketing campaigns to resonate with local cultures.
  • Organic Social & Web Management and Campaign Localisation: Direct the strategy and localisation of content for ASEAN social channels and digital properties. Adapt global marketing campaigns to align with the local cultures for
    enhanced impact.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Performance Metrics: Collaborate with global and regional teams to synchronise localised content and campaigns. Utilise KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies based on
    data-driven insights.
Your Background
  • Proven Experience in content marketing or social media management, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategies.
  • Prior experience in the APAC market and B2B marketing is highly desirable.
  • Content Mastery: Exceptional writing, editing, and content production skills across various formats, including video and audio. A creative thinker capable of engaging diverse audiences with compelling storytelling.
  • Analytical and Strategic Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate content performance and refine strategies, combined with a solid background in strategic planning and budget management. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and social media analytics.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: An in-depth understanding of the cultural diversity within ASEAN and the ability to adapt content and strategies to resonate with different audiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders.
  • Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the talent for articulating strategies and collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders across different departments and regions.
  • Consultative Approach: A consultative mindset with proven success in working alongside marketers and content creators to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Highly adaptable, with a strong problem-solving approach, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust strategies in a fast-paced environment.
