Senior Content Writer
- Contract role until 31 March 2023, with potential extension based on performance
- A multinational insurance company
Our client is making fundamental shifts from training their agents to empowering them, from death-by-PowerPoint training to experiential, activity-based ones; and from simply focusing on knowledge and skills to intentionally shaping desired behaviours.
To ensure clarity in the information our clients present to their agency force and colleagues across the region, we need a Senior Content Writer to produce and deliver various materials for different communication channels, such as presentations, speeches, video scripts, campaign materials, event communications, and more.
The aim is to promote L&D work, nurture company culture, engage employees, share information, instil purpose, and provide the company with a holistic view on things that matter at the company.
If you enjoy a diverse writing career or are looking for the next step in your journey, this contract role may be perfect for you. You'll get a taste of the insurance industry while working on various projects across different environments-meeting and collaborating with new people with each new assignment.
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer that is tech savvy with social media content scope. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and work management platforms, and familiar with Learning Management Systems. We are looking for candidates with the following background -
- Writer. You know that there's so much more to writing than just writing-or grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You are a wordsmith who can distil technical information with ease and clarity and articulate complex concepts in a simplified, relatable, engaging, and conversational manner. You're able to build and launch learning products with solutions that comprise digital, instructor-led, and work-based experiences as we help our trainers educate their agents and agency leaders to align with the overall company vision for the agency force. You know a bit about learning science and the difference between a curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plan. You can craft content for various formats and recognise that today's digital age calls for dynamic content strategy- a mix of long and short-form copy-and you know just when to apply each approach. From short videos to how-to guides, captivating eDMs, and more. You get the idea. People pay attention to your work because of your ability to develop story-based media that help them make sense of the mess.
- Collaborator. You can work with a range of stakeholders and team members across various disciplines: Designers, Learning Specialists, Project Managers, and more. You are unafraid to roll up your sleeves, do some nitty-gritty work, and build on the ideas of others. We also need those who can discover and understand context quickly so they can turn their superpowers to bring the work alive. A can-do attitude is a must. A healthy dose of imagination, curiosity, and humour is a plus!
