Sr. System Engineer (IT Ops/Support)

- 24 x 7 standby support (weekly rostered duty)

The Opportunity
On Premises Cloud Virtualization
- Able to manage, administer and monitor all aspect of infrastructure
- Build, Configure and troubleshoot
- Capacity management and reporting
Preferred with knowledge and experience in Nutanix HCI and Services - Aruba & Cisco Switches, A10 vThunder Load Balancer and Checkpoint Firewall
- Have knowledge and experience in manage, administrate and monitor the devices (CRUD) will be added advantages
- AD, DNS, M365, MSTeams, Certificate store, External Certificates
- Knowledge and experience on them will be added advantages
Windows (90%) and Linux (10%)
- Able to provision new machines on request
- Able to troubleshoot and escalate for vendor support timely
- Able to maintain patch compliance through patch management tools
- Able to leverage on scripts (e.g powershell) will be added advantages
- AWS EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, VPC, Storage Services
- Able to provision new virtual machines on request
- Able to troubleshoot and escalate for customer timely
- Able to maintain patch compliance through patch management tools
- Able to leverage on scripts (e.g. powershell)
Veeam backup
- Able to manage, administer and monitor all aspect of backup
- Manage agent and policies
- Troubleshoot and escalate timely to vendor for backup failures
- CyberArk, Solarwinds, Tanium
- Preferred with knowledge and experience in using the tools.
- ITSM/ITIL & ServiceNow
- Knowledge in the ITSM/ITIL process and experience in using ServiceNow
- Ensure proper ownership of create and assigned tickets (Incident, Service Requests & Change Request)
- Ensure timely assessment, update and implementation of assigned tickets
Support
- 24 x 7 hours stand by (on rotation basis)
- Weekly Rostered Duty
- Planned Maintenance
- DR exercises
Your Background
- Experience in installation and support of the following technologies: Windows server, On Premise Cloud Virtualization preferably Nutanix HCI and services, VMware, M365, Patch Management, Active Directory, storage and backup
- Preferably with Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE)
- Know the ITSM process. ITIL version 3 or above certification.
- Able to work IT support and other datacenter personnel to ensure uptime maximization
