SW Release Manager & Test Lead
Responsibility
- Responsible for software integration and testing topics, coordinating tasks within team and projects
- Maintain software auto-integration environment (Linux, Windows, shell script, Jenkins, Git)
- Design test cases and test environment for smoke test
- Debug and troubleshooting to primarily locate issue in components
- Work with external tester team to ensure the test coverage, review test plan to ensure the deliverable meet schedule with high quality.
- Work with software engineers to track the issue resolution in Jira
- Responsible for software and database deployment to test environment and production environment.
- Participate in Agile development activities
Minimum Requirement
- 5+ years of working IT experience on software release manager or test leader.
- Expert knowledge: Python, Shell and SQL
- Experience with writing of stable, clean code
- Bachelor/master's in computer science, Software Engineering or a similar technical degree
- Expert knowledge of continuous integration and test automation frameworks and tools (i.e. Jenkins, Docker)
- Experience with issue tracking tools (i.e. Jira)
- Expert knowledge of version control systems & workflows (i.e. Git, Gerrit, SVN, Jenkins)
- Ability to quickly navigate in code to find potential problems and solutions
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environment
- Familiarity with Linux & Windows systems
- Component and library integration
- Flashing systems and smoke tests
- Maintenance and Improvement of the build-system
- Analytical approach and problem-solving skills
