The Opportunity
- Support daily operational activities for Database Activity Monitoring System
- Ensure that company IT systems are hardened in accordance to IM8 policies
- Timely system password change (Quarterly and Yearly)
- Perform System Accounts Review for company systems
- Ensuring that company's IT assets (Software and Hardware) are supportable and are records are kept up-to-date
- Operation System Support of company's IT Systems
- Support IT Audit Activities
Your Background
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Graduate Degree in Computer/Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in IT infrastructure support and management
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
- Operating Systems: Solaris/HP-UX/Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server Solaris/HP-UX Cluster, Microsoft Cluster
- Databases: Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, Virtualization, VMWare ESXi
- SAN storage and backup technologies: NetApp Unified Storage, Symantec NetBackup
- Operational knowledge of IT security processes and standards for infrastructure
- Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- G-Cloud and Government Data Centre hosting environments
- Experience in government processes
- Candidates must be open to 12 months contract with an option to extend
