Detailed Job Description	Job Responsibilities: Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Microsoft Windows environment to the specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server related issues by providing both on-site/remote DataCenter and AWS. Deploy Windows Servers on a VMWare based platform. Creation of automated procedures to streamline maintenance and support Engineer Job Duties: Establishes Windows environment by building system configuration based on Design specifications; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. Maximizes Windows Infrastructure performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with architects on system optimization. Secures windows systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access. Creation of Standard Operating Procedures, Infrastructure Diagrams involved in the project Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Reporting operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects. Operational Duties: Maintaining operating systems and doing regular maintenance and patching using WSUS. Incident Management : Proactive checkouts and monitoring to avoid service outages or limit their impact. Troubleshooting and fault isolation to restore service when necessary Problem Management : Create solutions from Incident Management Case Study evaluations. This includes development of the related root cause flow charts and troubleshooting procedures that streamline the time required to isolate faults, restore service and prevention of similar incidents from reoccurring Monitor Systems health and do proactive maintenance
Detailed Job Qualification / Requirement	Skills and Qualifications: At least 3 years experience in Windows System 2008/2012 Administration. Experience or knowledge of the following: Microsoft Windows Server (Active directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS) Good Troubleshooting skills for Server operating systems Basic Scripting in either powershell or VB Script Backup software (Netbackup) Knowledge of Vmware 6.0 or higher Knowledge of Hardware setup for Servers (HP Blades) Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining SQL Clusters (2014 and 2016) is considered a plus/nice-to-have Operations: Ability to work in a team oriented environment is essential 24/7 Operations Environment with rotating shifts
