The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a well-rounded DevOps Engineer for a permanent role. The incumbent will be joining a tightly knit team with strong and diverse background in cloud infrastructure engineering, application development, traditional system administration, DevOps and cloud native technologies. This is a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in the growth and evolution of the company's cloud platform, built by very talented people.
Your Background
- At least three years of professional experience in a DevOps engineer or equivalent position.
- Strong technical background in DevOps and Cloud implementation
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Expertise in Jenkins (groovy scripting), Git actions, Azure DevOps CI/CD Platforms
- Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation in windows environment
- Well versed with Infrastructure as a Code principles and technologies like Terraform
- Expertise in Kubernetes Deployments and Manifests as well as Dockerfile Composition
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing and familiar with Azure, GCP
- Familiar with Atlassian suit (bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)
- Familiar with Jfrog Artifactory
- Knowledge of GIT
- Coding Skills in some of the following languages (Python, Java, Go, NodeJS)
- Software Engineering Experience would be an advantage
- Architecture / Systems Design Knowledge
- Engineering Best Practices
