Job description:
Apache JMeter - Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.
- Performance Engineering and testing, Root level analysis, providing recommendations, Process documentation and deliverable
- Define Scope of Performance Testing and requirements.
- Developed performance test plan and non-functional requirements document.
- Creating test plan, Test Cases, test condition, LoadRunner test script, Scenarios, Result Preparation/Presentation.
- Execute multi-user performance tests from LoadRunner Controller
- Create and execute performance scenarios for benchmarking to optimize the application for backend and frontend.
- Identified key performance bottlenecks in the application and also perform end-to-end root cause analysis on these bottlenecks to pinpoint the reasons.
- Provide adequate supporting information through reports for bottleneck analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Performance testing using Jmeter
- Good experience in below phases :
Requirement Gathering Phase
Test Plan Phase
Scripting Phase (Should be good in scripting using Loadrunner and JMeter scripting)
Execution Phase
Reporting Phase
