The Opportunity
The Presentations/DTP Specialist will be part of the graphics and presentations team in a busy 24/5 department that produces pitch book materials, graphic design and deal toys. This role will produce custom high-end graphics including bespoke covers and templates, logos, deal toys, invites, newsletters, flyers, posters, bespoke design requests, etc. from concept to finished artwork, as well as assist with the production of pitch book materials.
Job Responsibilities:

• Produces a variety of marketing materials (e.g. covers, templates, newsletters, deal toy designs, invites, posters, flyers, HTML newsletters, etc.) using relevant graphic applications to an advanced level
• Traces and produces logos, maps and illustrations
• Creates concept and artwork for 2D and 3D tombstones (lucites)
• Assists with the production of pitchbook materials and offers conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials
• Ensures all materials produced are correctly branded as per company standards and advises clients on the use of the company brand
• Liaises directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions and design requirements
• Completes related administrative work for accurate work billing and job tracking purposes
• Assists with Intake coordination when required
• Responsible for quality control of own work as well as assisting colleagues with QC tasks
• Buddies new joiners post-training
• Contributes to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Graphic Design with
  3 years or above of relevant work experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment (ideally in a financial institution) OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable work experience
• Creative, with a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design and layout, and advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Experience using Dreamweaver and Blender would be an advantage
• Knowledge of external print processes
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and cope with pressure
• Ability to assess work and make decisions from a technical point of view and prioritize requests efficiently
• Readiness to follow processes, policies and procedures
• Flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge with the team
• Must be able to provide a portfolio / samples of recent work
