About our client
Our client is one of the well-known government agencies. It is exciting opportunity to join our client as they are expanding their business in Asia Pacific, Europe and other part of the world.
Job Description
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather their requirements, perform analysis and recommend appropriate technology solutions or infrastructure to meet business and projects requirements
- Specify technical design and data model that meets business and technical requirements, and ensure compliance with MOM data architecture
- Manage technical aspects of the projects to align to business needs and ensure all deliverables including project timeline set by Project Manager
- Design and develop data warehouse, data marts, reports, dashboards and interactive visualisations
- Provide system documentation, ensure proper version control, and change management of programs
- Provide operational maintenance and support for non-production environments;
- Handle incidents and service request management to resolve issues within the Service Level Agreement
- Track all incidents and identify the root cause
- Engage users to implement enhancements/refinements based on changes in MOM's business requirements and the timeline agreed upon with users

- The supply of ICT professional services to the Information Systems and Technology Department ("ISTD") for systems development and maintenance

- Work with MOM's appointed personnel to support and provide response to regular audits or reviews for the projects and work on the follow-up action and recommendation from the audit findings
- Conduct testing of software patches or upgrades, and work with Facilities Management team for the production deployment
Requirements
- Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred
- At least 2 years of practical experience in design, development and maintenance of data warehouse, business intelligence capability, and end-to-end implementation from data source/ warehouse, to reports and dashboards
- Understand key concepts in data modelling, data processing, data warehouse, data management and data security
- At least 2 years of practical experience in visual analytics, preferably using Power BI and Tableau
- Advantageous to have at least 1 year of practical experience in one or more of the following:
- a) Use of Microsoft SSIS and SSAS
- b) Data masking, data virtualisation
- c) Big data technologies
- d) Dot Not programming (e.g. C#)
- e) Deployment of R and Python programs
- f) Microsoft Sharepoint
- g) Master Data Management and Data Quality Management in Microsoft MDS, DQS (SQL Server 2012 & above) for design, development, implementation and maintenance of data management
- Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem solving skills
- Willing to learn and adapt. A good team player with excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
