About the Role
You will be working alongside the IT support team to ensure maximum performance of a high traffic network infrastructure while maintaining system integrity. Internal networks include computer, voice, and firewall. The ideal candidate for the position of network engineer is agreeable, helpful, and efficient as well as having in-depth knowledge of networks with a focus on high-level design and planning.
Your Background
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent. Preferably with
- CCNP/CCIE certification
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in networking industry providing network design, administration and implementation
- Strong working knowledge of the following routing protocols: RIP, EIGRP, OSPF & BGP, DHCP, DNS
- Possess good customer handling and communication skills
- Self-motivated, work independently and good team player
- Ability to work and communicate with all level of management and staff with the business,
- other groups and vendors
- Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience in the following products:
- Cisco Nexus
- Cisco WLAN, WLC
- VRF
- DMVPN
- Checkpoint, Cisco ASA firewalls
- Cisco Prime
- Cisco ACS/ Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco Routers and Switches
- F5 Load Balancers
- Firewalls (Nokia & Fortigate)
- WAN Optimization using Riverbed
- Network Monitoring Tools
