About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an independent driven individual looking for challenges and eager to learn and develop components while supervising and supporting less experienced developers.
Your role of responsibilities:
- Design, setup, customization and implementation of software components and business workflows
- Integrations of applications with Client's existing or new systems, services and devices
- Prepare documentation, develop unit test, troubleshoot and fix defects of all produced software artefacts
- Deep focus on product quality
Your Background
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and experience:
- Ability to demonstrate working experience as a software developer on the relevant set of technologies
- Hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding and implementation of complex, custom-built applications
- Experience with Object Orientated Programming and Design Patterns
- Experienced in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
- Some knowledge of software best practices, like continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD), Test Driven Design and Microservices
Java EE profile:
- Java Enterprise application development, preferably WebSphere, WebLogic and/or OSGi compatible Application Servers
- Solid system integration experience, SOAP, REST Web Services, JPA and/or JMS, XML and JSON
- Knowledge of Enterprise Web Application security and related backend platform aspects
- Experience with:
- Eclipse IDE
- Relational database development and integration, preferably on Oracle, DB/2 and/or MySQL, ORM framework (e.g. Hibernate)
- Unit testing and mocking frameworks (e.g. Junit, Mockito)
- Some exposure to HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, CSS/XSL(T), AngularJS, jQuery is important
- Experience with Python is a plus
