The Project Management Office (PMO) will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the Operations function. This role requires a seasoned project manager with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates with life insurance exposure will be strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Operation Projects to establish the Project Management Office (PMO) function within Operations division, defining the PMO's vision, mission, and goals.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent project delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Close budget monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with project directors, IT department and other stakeholders to align and agree on the project priority.
- Provide regular project status reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in insurance industry or financial institute, extensive knowledge of claims journey digitalisation, health strategy, health initiative implementation will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to scope.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
