Security Solutions Consultant / Cybersecurity Presales



Key Responsibilities

  • Learn about and understand customer's IT challenges and security requirements
  • Provide professional security advisory service to customers by designing and proposing security solutions meeting customer's objectives
  • Prepare relevant materials such as proposals, statement of works, presentations, training materials for pre-sales activities
  • Obtain supplier quotations of the Ball of Materials (BOM) to prepare sales items including product description and price for sales to generate quotation to customer
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers or business partners to support sales to close the deal
  • Provide suggestion and comment to Product team from the technical and pre-sales perspectives for product development
  • Proactively maintain knowledge of the company's current security solution offerings, products/services in the market and latest technology in the industry
  • As part of the team, working with Security Services and Customer Services to support service provisioning



Requirements

  • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science
  • At least 3 years working experience in IT with 1 year specific on Information Security or Risk Management
  • Professional qualifications on Information Security CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 is a plus
  • Experience setting up and installing software on LINUX, UNIX and Windows platforms
  • Knowledge of information security services and products, including but not limited to Firewalls, Network IDS or IPS , Host-based IDS or IPS, Web Application Firewall, Vulnerability Assessments
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Creative and critical thinking, result orientated
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Occasionally travel depending on the customer engagement
