Design Program Coordinator

  • 12 months contract role
  • New headcount and a strategic role for the future of the team (as this is our client's first time to hire this role in Singapore)

The Opportunity

The role will focus on supporting our client's Central Design Programs team. We are looking for candidates who have a strong program management background, are highly organized, with experience event planning, establishing timelines, meeting deadlines, anticipating/resolving project issues and more. This role requires excellent English communication skills, an ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the operations of education, publishing and other programs on the Central Design Programs team
  • Oversee community building programs for Designers in the Singapore office
  • Manage contract and PO requests and processes
  • Assist in tracking team budget and spending
  • Drive team communication and knowledge sharing, including updating and maintaining team wiki documentation, group communication, taking notes and sharing next steps
  • Provide additional support to Design Program Management team on ad hoc projects, as needed
  • Support management with other miscellaneous tasks, such as meeting coordination for the design organization and event planning

Your Background

  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior communication skills (both speaking and writing)
  • Can quickly learn new internal tools with confidence
  • Strong understanding of cloud tools like G Suite and Quip
  • Able to interact flawlessly with all levels of a professional organization with a positive, confident, friendly attitude
  • Proven record of being detail-oriented, identifying areas for improvement/support and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with design would be an advantage
