The Opportunity
Our client is in search for a passionate, smart, experienced and intuitive Event Marketing Lead to support their B2B marketing efforts across APAC. We are looking for someone who can deliver world class Marketing events and team management, from helping to drive strategy, to the planning and execution of events - ranging from small meetings, C Level Content and Thought Leadership Events, company hosted and owned B2B events, large scale ad industry experiential events, and virtual events of all sizes.
Core responsibilities:

  • Produce flawless virtual, physical and hybrid events across APAC in close cooperation with external agencies and partners
  • Work across multiple APAC countries, with a strong operational focus and a hands-on attitude in a high pace organization and environment
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management; Manage and maintain relationships with the main business marketing stakeholders in APAC, especially being able to represent the APAC marketing leadership team
  • Work closely with global and cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for events messaging, campaigns and product launches
  • Provide leadership, motivation, direction and support to the team, managing the team not only in the delivery of events but also in scaled projects
  • Oversee the rhythm of business for team management including planning, resourcing and work reviews
  • Develop, produce and deliver events following briefs from internal stakeholders - on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Use initiative to solve problems and find satisfactory solutions
  • Manage supplier relationships across APAC
  • Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Responsible for project budgets from start to finish
  • Ensure excellent client and partner experience in the form of flawless events


Your Background

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience working in an event management role (including virtual events)
  • Experience in people management
  • Active social media user
  • Operationally focused and keen to work hard
  • Ability to work in a fast paced company
  • Personable and team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong project management and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task
  • Keen eye for detail
