The Opportunity
Our client is seeking to grow its APAC News team to work with News partners across APAC. The News Partnerships team manages strategic relationships with key media partners including news and publishing organizations. As part of the APAC News team, this role will focus on creating business and partner impact through data and insights.

In this role, you will be partnering closely with Strategic Partner Managers (SPMs) in APAC to drive impact for News partners. In addition, you will also collaborate closely with the rest of the News partnerships team, as well as with cross-functional teams such as Product, Media Operations and Partner Engineering teams etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consultative account management with SPMs of top News strategic partners
• Monitor industry trends and co-own market strategies and goals with SPMs
• Market-size opportunity to drive value with partners
• Drive portfolio of insights and analysis geared towards partner value
• Develop data-driven business models to demonstrate the impact of the company's work with media companies
• Conduct data and insights analysis for partners
• Specialize in relevant media products, and drive partner product education and onboarding
• Drive internal initiatives and external-facing programs related to product expertise, understand the ins and outs of relevant products
• Support team programs across the region
• Support team on operational tasks and workflow for news partners

Your Background

• BA/BS degree or higher
• Has 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, strategic partnerships
• Consultancy mindset
• Ad Agency background, or Media Planner role in an Ad Agency
• Fluency in spoken and written English, secondary regional language is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, with a passion towards working with data and turning data into narratives
• Able to work both independently, and also as a team with other Partner Solutions Managers, SPMs and other internal cross-functional teams
• Ability to multitask, working on different projects and with different partners simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative team player both within the team and cross-functionally
• Knowledge of APAC media ecosystem, especially in News and Media, is preferred
